Pogłębiona analiza partnerskich organizacji w ramach projektu LEVEL UP!

Projekt współfinansowany w ramach programu Unii Europejskiej ERASMUS+, Akcja 2 Partnerstwa strategiczne.

- omówienie i wypracowanie metod systematycznego doskonalenia naszych zasobów pracowniczych (w tym trenerów) dorosłych (podnoszenie jakości, poszerzanie oferty) w oparciu o doświadczenia trzech odmiennych organizacji i ich aktywistów, którzy od wielu lat zajmują się tym tematem;

 - dostosowanie treści szkolenia do uczestników o niskich kwalifikacjach zawodowych i specyficznych potrzebach.

  • identyfikację obszarów podobieństw i różnic
  • wnioski i możliwe kierunki wspólnego rozwoju- burza mózgów

On 27/05/2021, another (already third) online meeting of members of the partner team from Poland, Spain, and Latvia took place, dedicated to the implementation of the Level UP project! carried out by the management team of the Polish Economic Society, Branch in Gdańsk under the funds of the Erasmus +  program.

It was also the first meeting in the analytical cycle in a substitute form, due to the inability to physically meet the project team members and the measures taken as a result of the pandemic.

In the present situation, it was decided to carry out a series of ONLINE MEETINGS DEDICATED TO THE SELF-ASSESSMENT OF THE ORGANIZATION AS PART OF THE LEVEL UP PROJECT. These are activities based on the comparison and assessment of the state of the organization and its environment, search for common features and areas of possible cooperation, and discussion on possible improvements to the activities carried out so far, which are to contribute to the improvement of the functioning of our organizations.

The aim of each of the dedicated meetings is to assess the ecosystem of the functioning of three partner organizations as part of activities in the field of adult education and individual analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (internal and external), including presentation of the training structures of our organizations and those we know and work in our adult education community.

The above meetings will be held regularly every month and will allow building appropriate ties and the level of understanding between the involved entities by getting to know not only themselves but also the specificity of local functioning and its impact on possible development.

The above series of meetings based on the SWOT analysis is to enable:

- discussion and development of methods for the systematic improvement of our adult staff resources (including trainers) (quality improvement, extension of the offer) based on the experience of three different organizations and their activists who have been dealing with this topic for many years;

- adjusting the content of the training to participants with low professional qualifications and specific needs.

During the meetings, we use the SWOT analysis method (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) of each organization, which is a strategic analysis tool that synthetically arranges the features of the organization and its environment into four categories. Two of them relate to the internal conditions of the organization (strengths and weaknesses), and the other two relate to the environment in which a given organization operates (opportunities and threats). Within each area (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats), partner organizations distinguished those aspects which, in the opinion of the authors of the study, are the most important in a given area.

The SWOT analysis of the three partner organizations will also be the starting point for the development of proposals for strategic and operational goals of the partners, including the PES Branch in Gdańsk in the field of adult education as part of the future project activities.

The meeting on May 27 was based on four main stages:

  • getting to know our organizations and their characteristics (formal and non-formal)
  • Identifying the strengths of each organization that can be used in the project and possible improvements • identification of areas of similarities and differences
  • conclusions and possible directions of joint development - brainstorming

The result of the series of meetings will be a summary report The next meeting is planned for the second half of June 2021 and will focus on the weaknesses of the organization and the possibility of transforming them from obstacles to project and coaching work into assets.
